Jai Waetford combined the Australian soap opera Neighbours in February 2016 as Angus Beaumont-Hannay; his introduction event aired on 2 May. His most recent EP Heart Miles premiered on 3 June 2016.
Jai Waetford was created in 1999 and is out of Campbelltown, a suburb in south-western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He had been raised by his mom Alana Dow and grandparents Hannah and Roger Dow. At a young age, Waetford’s dad left him and his mom. He taught himself the way to play guitar out of viewing movies on YouTube. He had been educated in Campbelltown Performing Arts High School and left school in 2014 after finishing Year 10.
2013: The X Factor Australia
In 2013, Waetford auditioned for its fifth period of The X Factor Australia, singing”Different Worlds” by Jes Hudak and also an original tune titled”Do Not Let Me Go“. He improved into the super Bootcamp period of this contest. On the very first afternoon of superb Bootcamp, Waetford played”Titanium” by David Guetta and advanced into the next phase of superb Bootcamp, at which he staged”Last Request” by Paulo Nutini. On the final afternoon of superb Bootcamp, Waetford played”We’re Never Getting Back Together” by Taylor Swift into the judges and a live audience of one million. He made it through the house visits around and has been put to the Boys group, which was mentored by Ronan Keating. In the house visits, he sang Elvis Presley’s version of”Always on My Head” and made it through the live displays. Waetford went to get to the grand final, finishing third behind Taylor Henderson who arrived next and Dami I am who won the series.
Jai was brought up with his single mother, Alana Dow, who came to reside with her parents Hannah and Roger Dow, after her separation from husband Creedy Waetford. Although Creedy abandoned his wife and boy, he maintains a great connection with Jai. Jai is presently dating the American model and actress Carrington Durham. The couple has been together since 2015 and can be seen cozying up collectively in their own Instagram posts. Both met socially Jai was residing in Los Angeles and hit it off immediately.
